BIO:
Briana Monet' is a triple threat (Actress, Dancer, Singer) from Houston, TX. She received her B.F.A in Theatre Arts from Howard University in 2015 and later trained in London England with the British American Drama Academy and the Yale School of Drama. She was then invited to join the Synetic Theatre Company in Crystal City, Virginia. She later transitioned to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in TV/Film where she guest starred on Netflix's Girl Boss, The Eric Andre Show, portrayed Keisha in Google's Infinite Deviation, Ivy in the feature film Foresight, Erin in Who The Bleep Did I Marry?, and you may have spotted her in between shows in commercials for Wienerschnitzel, Zazzle, Experian, and most recently Hyundai. Her Theatre credits include her most recent National Tour as The African Princess/ Chorus 19 with Super Freak: The Rick James Story, Chavonne in Idris Goodwin’s Pick Me Last, Sidona in Nick Stewart’s Resonance of time, The female swing for A Motown Christmas, Crank in Katori Hall's Hurt Village, Amira in Keenan Scott's Thoughts of a Colored Man, Hecuba in Trojan Women, Lady Polignac in Marie Antoinette, and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth.
Briana, currently starring as Nancy in Main Street Theatre's Production of Fancy Nancy, is set to begin filming a feature film under the working title "A Boy Comes To America" in August. She has been offered the role of Daisy in Sleeping Beauty, running November - December 2024, and is all set to join the cast of Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical in February 2025.
